The meeting was organized by the Municipality of Volvi - Partner 3 of the WET-AID project and the agenda was also prepared by the Municipality of Volvi. The participants arrived between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Welcome address – Partners’ Presentations
The meeting started at 10:30. Mr Michailides extended a welcome address to all participants in which he thanked everyone for participating in this meeting and introduced the project partners as well as external experts that where present for this meeting.
Mr Michailides referred to the project’s objectives and expected results and made a short comment about every expected result, its status, obtained results as well as remaining actions to be taken in order to achieve all objectives.
Project Presentation
On behalf of LP1, Mr Michailides gave a general overview presentation of the project, referred to the every Work Package, the deliverables that have already been submitted, the actions that should be taken, and the deliverables that are going to be submitted, as well as important dates and the accordance between Work Packages, Actions and Partners.
Initially, the project partners were informed on the deliverables concerning WP1 and actions that should be taken. Starting with Action 1.2 concerning Progress Reports & Management Actions, where a Progress Report will be submitted by LP1 on the 20th of October 2016 and one more by the end of the Project. A referral was made to Action 1.3 “Project’s meetings” and more specifically to the last meeting which will be held in Thessaloniki by LP1. A mini discussion took place regarding the timetable of the required meeting, and due to the pressure of time the meeting was agreed upon to be held the same date as the Final Conference.
Following, Mr Michailides referred to WP2 which refers to “Information & Publicity” and stated that the tender regarding actions 2.1 and 2.2 (Printed& electronic material,

Conference, Communication Plan & Conference material) on behalf of LP1 has been concluded. The evaluation committee has evaluated all documents and has determined the candidate that will proceed to sign a contract. Furthermore, it was agreed by all participants that the date of the Project Conference should be held close to the end of the Project.
The representatives of Volvi Municipality Mr Thanasis& Mrs Kapetanikola, stated that as far as P3’s part in WP2, is concerned, P3 has assigned a contract for the website and logo (deliverable 2.3.1) and that this period they are making the necessary actions regarding the assignment of deliverable 2.1.2 (Printed & electronic information). At this point, Mr Koumantos the external expert regarding the development of the website and logo was introduced. Mr Koumantos made a presentation regarding the logo and the website and a thorough discussion occurred regarding actions that should be taken in order to enrich the site's contents and in order to promote the site to the public and increase the site’s visits.
At this point, Mrs Hantzaridou suggested that extensive summaries of the project’s deliverables should be uploaded on the site, as well as certain maps depicting the area of study, measurements taken and other information that may be of particular interest to the public and may raise awareness regarding this project and its goals.
Following, Mrs Mavrommati, gave an analytical presentation of the Web Map portal (Action3.3.). She described the data that has been embedded, all functions that a user may come across, the maps that can be produced etc. Mrs Mavrommati defined that the work left to be done is the addition of the data that will be obtained by the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV).
At this point Mr Michailides added that the “Supply of equipment for the pilot monitoring” regarding the Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) was obtained on 30.9.2016. Mrs Terzopoulou as a representative of P4 in deliverable 3.4.3 stated that P4 will perform monitoring activities in the protected area and deliver the report by the end of October according to the timetable. Mr Thanasis on behalf of P3 – Municipality of Volvi added that deliverable 3.4.2 is being implemented and will also be delivered on time. Following, Mrs Terzopoulou gave a presentation regarding P4’s progress through the entire project and made an analytical presentation of the Unmanned Surface Vehicle and its potential. Mrs Terzopoulou demonstrated the use of the USV to the participants of the meeting through the projection of a video.
Mr Michailides continued the discussion by introducing WP4. Mrs Ntonou P4’s representative regarding deliverables 4.1.1 and 4.2.1, gave an analytical presentation for each deliverable regarding a) the eco-hydrologic modeling for the confrontation of natural risks on public health and the conservation of the environment and b) the land use planning and soil ecosystem management guidelines for pollution control. P4’s representatives stated that farmers attending the training seminar will be very interested in the outcomes of the presentation. According to Mr Thanasis, P3 the Action plan development for the Greek site (deliverable 4.3.1) has been outsourced, is under implementation and will be delivered on time.
At last but not least, Mrs Mitraki who is the technical consultant for LP1 regarding deliverable 5.1.1 "Regional strategies guidelines for the protection of human life and environmental health for Greece" gave a detailed presentation of the deliverable regarding

the proposed strategies for the protection of human life and environmental health and the outcomes of this deliverable.
Finally, regarding the implementation of deliverables 5.2.1 and 5.2.2 by LP1 and P3 concerning the "know how" transfer, the representatives of the two partners agreed that they should be held the same week as the Conference, only a few days prior to it. The dates suggested were the following: Conference - 11.11.2016, LP1’s seminar - 8.11.2016 and P3’s seminar on the 9th or the 10th of November. Mrs Kapetanikola added that Municipality of Volvi has started procedures in order to assign deliverable 5.2.2 (training seminar) and proceed with the completion of all actions and deliverables.
The meeting ended at 13:00, and lunch was served to the participants. At 14.00 lunch was over. A visit to the site area followed and the meeting ended at 15:00.
